CELEBRATING our 20Th SEASON

In the News....

The St. Louis Women's HOPE Chorale 20th season has come to a close.  This season brought exciting events.  Below are some of the highlights including:

St. Louis Women's HOPE Chorale performs with Grammy award winning soprano Sylvia McNair and the Chamber Music Society of St. Louis

The St. Louis Women's HOPE Chorale is continuing to grow and partner with a variety of musicians and musical ensembles.  On May 12th we had the opportunity to perform with the Chamber Music Society of St. Louis and two time Grammy award winning Soprano Sylvia McNair.  We performed a piece composed by local St. Louis composer and Sheldon Concert Hall and Art Galleries Executive Director Paul Reuter.   The piece titled Spirit of Truth consisted of lyrics known to have been performed at the Sheldon in 1912 (although no music has been found to accompany the lyrics) and quotes from Walter Sheldon, founder of the St. Louis Ethical Society.

St. Louis Women's HOPE Chorale Visits Normandy High School Choir

As part of our ongoing community outreach we had an incredible opportunity to perform for the Normandy High School choir. We were also blessed with a performance from these talented young voices. Songs of Africa Ensemble also joined us for this incredible experience.
